Thousand Oaks (Calif.) Oaks Christian linebacker Cameron Judge made the call today. The 6-foot-2, 200-pound prep decided he was ready to commit to UCLA over offers from Arizona, ASU and Boise State among others.
"I really like the feel at the school between the coaches and players," Judge said. "Academics were key to me and UCLA offers a great degree. Plus, it's California and you just can't beat the weather."
Ace recruiter Adrian Klemm led the charge for the recruitment of the three-star linebacker.
"Coach Klemm is really cool and I like him a lot," he said. "I talked to him and coach (Jeff) Ulbrich today and they were both real excited about my commitment. They were talking about me playing outside and inside linebacker for them. I'm fine playing anywhere."
His teammate, Francis Owusu is also a high profile recruit for the Bruins. Judge said that will be his first target to join him in the class of 2013.
"I'm going to work on my teammate Francis Owusu. I think that would be big to have him join me at UCLA. Other than that I'm not sure who else I'll be trying to recruit just yet."
Judge said he considers himself a solid commit and has no plans to take any other visits.
