Let's get ready to rummmmbleeee......
The Bruins will turn full attention on Donovan Munger.
UCLA and USC fans alike are starting to pick up on the historic cross town rivalry. A lot is on the line not only in terms of bragging rights but also a potential Pac-12 South championship berth.
The Bruins will host a bevy of top recruits this weekend, which include several commits and official visitors.
Here's a look at who's expected on hand.
UCLA commits Christian Morris, Ammon Barker and Scott Quessenberry will be on hand this weekend all for official visitors. Donovan Munger is the lone official visitor not committed and will be a top priority for the coaches and commits. The Bruins likely have a lot of ground to make up on Munger, but the warm weather and electric atmosphere could be an 'ace in the hole' for UCLA.
2013 unofficial visitors
The list of expected 2013 recruits to visit is very impressive, one of the best I've seen out West this year. Craig Lee, Jermaine Kelly, Sean Dowling, Kenneth Clark, Cameron Judge, Jayon Brown, John Lopez and Poasi Moala are the current UCLA commits expected to be in town. Some, if not all of the commits will likely be working on the uncommitted prospects and try to make them feel at home.
What could be just as impressive is the list of uncommitted UCLA targets coming to town. Several top Bruin targets including Tahaan Goodman, Priest Willis, Devon Allen, Thomas Duarte, Patrick Enewally and Damorea' Stringfellow are all possible visits. Every recruit on that list is a priority for the staff. Out of that group, Allen and Enewally could be two to watch for possible commitments.
The rest of the visitors appear likely to take more visits, but it never hurts to have them on campus.
2014 unofficial visitors
It's never too early to get started working on the elite players of tomorrow. The Bruins will host a deep crop of 2014 recruits as usual. Here's a list of a few names rumored to be on hand: Natrell Curtis, Michiah Quick, Tashon Smallwood, Brandon Dawkins, Dwight Williams, Adoree' Jackson, Marquis Ware and Jamardre Cobb are all names to be linked to a UCLA visit this weekend.
One could estimate the Bruins are pretty confident heading into this game which would be reason enough to bring in as many top names as possible. Even if UCLA doesn't win, a competitive game will show rapid signs of improvement over the rivalry game played just a year ago.
