The Bruins made a splash of their own with the commitment of Kenneth Clark. The 6-foot-2, 280-pound prep made the call to the coaching staff to let them know he was verbally committing.

Recently Clark was at the USC Rising Stars camp and made headlines as one of the top performers at camp.
"UCLA just felt right and I really love the staff," Clark said. "It's a great university, it's close to home and I know I'm going to get a great education from there."
Assistant Demetrice Martin led in the recruitment of Clark.
"I really like coach Martin a lot," he said. "He seems like a great guy and he has always been real up front with me. It feels great to be a Bruin."
Despite the commitment to UCLA, Clark left the door open for other visits.
"I might still visit Washington or some other schools, I'm not really sure about all of that just yet."
Clark is the No. 9 verbal commitment to UCLA in 2013.
