Bruins set to host notable targets

Here's a quick look at some names that are expected to visit UCLA tomorrow for the game against Houston.

Devon Allen

The Bruins are expected to host four-star speedster Devon Allen on Saturday.

There are no official visitors this weekend and un-officials can be very fluid when they actually show up or do not. So as of late Friday afternoon here is a list of names that at one point this week confirmed they intend to visit UCLA tomorrow.

Commits on campus

Kenneth Clark, John Lopez, Sean Dowling and Jermaine Kelly will be on hand tomorrow. As all watched the big win last week, expect the foursome to continue working on teammates and top targets of the Bruin staff. Kelly will be joined by several of his Salesian (Calif.) teammates including top 2014 targets Jamardre Cobb and Marquis Ware. Both are highly ranked four-stars early in the cycle.

Notable 2013 targets

Speedsters Devon Allen, John Ross and Khalfani Muhammad are all expected on campus tomorrow. All three are considered top priorities to the staff. Ross is pretty high on UCLA and has them among his top group. Allen and Muhammad also are considering UCLA but the Bruins may have some room to make up with each.

Thomas Duarte has indicated he will be in attendance but he has also made plans to visit before. He remains a top priority of the staff and getting him on campus as often as possible is of high importance.

Quarterbacks Kelly Hilinski and Zach Greenlee will be on campus tomorrow and neither have an offer at this time. Hilinski will bring his younger brother Tyler who is part of the class of 2015 and also plays quarterback like Kelly. The staff is not sold on taking a quarterback in this cycle after taking three quarterbacks last year and also starting a redshirt freshman in Brett Hundley.

Notable 2014 targets

Among the talent Salesian high will bring there are a host of other top players coming to town from the 2014 class. Serra (Calif.) teammates Jalen Greene and Adoree Jackson will be in town. Both are considered high priorities by the staff in the early stages.

Quarterback Brandon Dawkins and wide receiver Jeffrey Farrar should also be in town. This is once again another key chance for the Bruins to make an impression with a quality victory over Houston.
