The NCAA Tournament selection committee did not do UCLA any favors with a particularly difficult draw. The Bruins, however, appear determined to prove the naysayers wrong.

You beat Arizona 3 times this year and AWARD Arizona with a #6 Seed int he west & you send the Bruins to the SOUTH with the 1st two rounds stacked against you????The South is a minefield......Selection Committee needs to be shot!!!

He was not happy. Never seen him as disappointed as yesterday's press conference in Westwood.

I hope Howland gives Tony Parker the chance to lay his big body on the Gopher's center and wear him down some. He needs some real minutes to at least give someone a chance to rest up.

Howland said Parker will play at least 10 minutes. He needs 15-20 to be effective and find his rhythm, however. See what happens.

That's what I am afraid of; he needs 15-20, but Howland will play him 10 and never get him into the flow of the game.

Minnesota has a couple bigs. That said, Parker needs to establish himself as a post presence. If, of course, Howland will let him.
