In the past couple of seasons "slow playing" local quarterbacks proved fatal in our efforts sign high-level local quarterbacks. It seems that the coaches came in late on Troy Williams and other coveted southland QBs. I hope they move on Dawkins.

Bruins missed the boat on Williams, indeed. Thing is, UCLA has been talking to Dawkins for a while now. No offer, however. Strikes me as odd.

really love the attention the Bruins are getting, but what we need is two nose tackles and a few big de in this 14' class.

Just a matter of time before UCLA addresses needs along the line of scrimmage. On the defensive front, that is.

He is a great kid. Sadly, he just lost his grandma this week. Tore him up pretty bad as it was sudden and unexpected. Later this week, he gets an Army All Star invite. He'll be playing his heart out this year in honor of his grandmother.
